Mission
The objects of the MRB Foundation are:
1. To encourage community cohesion through dialogue and discussion amongst all the faith, community and minority ethnic groups that exists in our society;
2. To interface with community organisations, faith groups and statutory agencies, enabling a greater understanding and tolerance of one another;
3. To enable and facilitate discussion, dialogue and review amongst the communities in which we exist enabling a greater understanding of our diversity and celebration therein;
4. Work with Central Government, Regional Bodies, Local Government, Statutory organisations and Charities to promote and achieve the Foundation’s objectives;
5. Raise funds to enable the implementation of all of the aims and objectives;
6. Organise a programme of training for those that wish to carry out work in the area of charity or community activities.
7. Organisation of conferences and seminars for the wider community of key policy areas that are identified from time to time.
8. Conduct national campaigns promoting issues and concerns that are identified from time to time.
9. Conduct national campaigns explaining the current services provided by the public sector, statutory bodies, central government, local government and third sector bodies.
10. In so far as the land and buildings or other assets of the charity, are not required for the said object in (1) above, then provided that the trustees may use the charity’s land and other assets for such other charitable purposes as are exclusively charitable at law.
